Paid To Read Books Club gives readers the opportunity to discover new books, share their honest opinions, and earn credits that can be redeemed for rewards.

Our process is simple.

 

Step 1: Create Your Account

Register for a free account using your legal name and accurate information.

To participate, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old.

• Provide a valid email address.

• Provide a valid physical address (PO Boxes are not accepted).

• Maintain a valid Goodreads account.

• Complete the email verification process.

Your account must remain accurate and up to date at all times.

Step 2: Browse Available Books

Once your account has been approved and verified, you can browse available books.

Each book listing displays:

• The title and author.

• A description of the book.

• The number of credits available for completing a verified read.

• Available review opportunities.

Books are offered in limited quantities. Once all review opportunities have been claimed, the book will no longer be available.

Step 3: Claim a Book

When you find a book that interests you, claim it.

Members may only have one active book claim at a time.

Once a book is claimed, a review opportunity is reserved for you.

The credit value shown when you claim the book is the amount you will receive upon successful completion of the verified reading.

Step 4: Download and Read

Download the EPUB file and begin reading.

You will have 7 days to complete your reading and submit your proof of reading.

To help protect authors and publishers, EPUB files may contain identifying information associated with your account.

Books are provided solely for your personal use and may not be shared, distributed, uploaded, or given to others.

Step 5: Submit Your Review

After reading the book, complete one of the following reviewing:

Option A: Goodreads Review

Post your honest review on Goodreads and submit the review link on your profile.

Option B: Written Review

Submit an original review directly through the Site containing at least 600 words.

All reviews must:

• Be your own original work.

• Reflect your honest opinion.

• Be based on your actual reading experience.

• Comply with Site rules.

Positive reviews are not required. Honest reviews are what authors value most.

Step 6: Review Approval

Each review is reviewed by Paid To Read Books Club before credits are awarded.

Reviews may be rejected if they:

• Contain fewer than 600 words (for Site reviews).

• Are plagiarized.

• Are AI-generated or AI-assisted.

• Do not meet program requirements.

• Show evidence that the book was not actually read.

Once approved, credits are added to your account balance.

Step 7: Earn Credits

Approved reviews earn credits.

Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between members.

Credits are tied to your account and remain available until redeemed, forfeited, or otherwise removed in accordance with the Terms of Use.

Step 8: Redeem Your Credits

Once you have earned at least 50 points, you may request a reward.

Current redemption options include:

Amazon Gift Card

• 1 Credit = $1.00 CAD

PayPal

• 1 Credit = $0.80 CAD

Reward requests are subject to verification and review.

Missed Deadlines

If you do not complete your review within 7 days:

• Your claim may expire.

• The review opportunity may return to the available pool.

• You may receive a strike.

• Future book claims may be restricted.

Repeated violations may result in suspension or removal from the program.

Important Rules

To keep the program fair for everyone:

• One account per person.

• One active book claim at a time.

• No VPNs, proxies, or anonymizing services.

• No AI-generated or AI-assisted reviews.

• No sharing EPUB files.

• Maintain a valid Goodreads account.

• Use your real name and accurate information.
